11 bands will take the stage

The Covid comeback continues as a popular festival fundraiser returns this year in support of urban youth. The Park Burger Denver Deluxe Festival is revitalized and ready to launch again with a serious lineup of bands, food and booze.
Streets in RiNo will be shut down for the Saturday, Sept. 30 shindig that will feature 11 bands from around the country. The not-for-profit event features beer from New Belgium Brewing, several food vendors, artists from across the country, booths and other community events. Proceeds will support Colorado UpLift, which helps kids build long-lasting relationships that help them prosper economically and socially.
The event is put on by the Gastamo Group, a Denver restaurant group that includes Park Burger, Homegrown, Park & Co, Perdida, Lady Nomada. The group also launched the Birdcall restaurants.
“As we continue to grow Gastamo, our commitment to the communities we have the privilege to operate in must grow,” said Gastamo Group CVO Peter Newlin. “We wouldn’t be able to bring back this extraordinary day without the amazing community sponsors, the team at Gastamo Group, volunteers, the RiNo Art District and its incredible artists, and the legendary musicians coming from all over the country.”
Expect Joe Purdy to bring his acoustic folk songs filled with passion and strong opinions to the stage in RiNo. And Langhorne Slim should also provide some folk feel to his country blues jams that will keep the crowd swaying.
